Resolve problems with data not appearing or updating correctly.

Common Sync Symptoms

  • Data not appearing after changes
  • Old information showing instead of new
  • Changes made don't persist
  • Team members see different data
  • Assessments not reflecting in scores

Understanding Data Sync

SenseiiWyze synchronizes data between systems. Sometimes there can be delays or issues.

Normal Sync Times

Troubleshooting Steps

Step 1: Refresh the Page

  1. Press F5 or Ctrl + R (Windows) / Cmd + R (Mac)
  2. Wait for the page to fully reload
  3. Check if data has updated

Step 2: Hard Refresh

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + R (Windows) / Cmd + Shift + R (Mac)
  2. This clears cached data
  3. Check again for updates

Step 3: Clear Browser Cache

  1. Open browser settings
  2. Clear cached images and files
  3. Reload SenseiiWyze
  4. Log in again if prompted

Step 4: Check for Active Sessions

If you're logged in on multiple devices:

  1. Log out of all sessions
  2. Close all browser tabs
  3. Open a fresh browser
  4. Log in again

Step 5: Wait and Retry

For larger operations (imports, bulk changes):

  1. Wait 15-30 minutes
  2. Refresh the page
  3. Check if data has synced

Specific Sync Issues

Profile Not Updating

Problem: Changes to your profile don't appear.

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Log out and log back in
  4. Check that you clicked "Save"

Assessment Score Not Reflecting

Problem: Completed an assessment but score didn't update.

Solutions:

  1. Verify assessment was fully submitted (not just saved)
  2. Wait 5 minutes for processing
  3. Check the Assessments page for completion status
  4. Contact support if score still missing after 30 minutes

New Team Member Not Showing

Problem: Added a user to a team but they don't appear.

Solutions:

  1. Verify the user accepted their invitation
  2. Check that they're showing as "Active" in Users
  3. Refresh the Team page
  4. Re-add the user if they're not in the team

Changes Made by Admin Not Visible

Problem: Admin made changes but users don't see them.

Solutions:

  1. Users should refresh their pages
  2. Users can try logging out and back in
  3. Wait 5 minutes for changes to propagate
  4. Admin can verify changes were saved successfully

When to Contact Support

Contact support if:

  • Data hasn't synced after 30+ minutes
  • Multiple users report the same sync issue
  • You see data inconsistencies across accounts
  • Error messages appear during sync

Providing Information to Support

When reporting sync issues, include:

  1. What data isn't syncing - Be specific
  2. When you made the change - Date and time
  3. What you've tried - Troubleshooting steps taken
  4. Screenshots - Before/after if possible
  5. Affected users - Who's experiencing the issue

Preventing Sync Issues

Best Practices

  1. Wait for confirmations - Ensure changes are saved before navigating away
  2. Avoid duplicate edits - Don't make the same change from multiple devices
  3. Check status - Verify operations completed successfully
  4. One at a time - For bulk operations, wait for completion before starting another

Browser Best Practices

  1. Keep browser updated
  2. Allow cookies from senseiiwyze.com
  3. Disable aggressive ad blockers on our domain
  4. Use a stable internet connection
